Worthy Competitors/ advantage over competitions
There is no direct competitor of Hyundai Sonata because it is the only D- segment sedan locally manufactured in Pakistan on the other hand Toyota Camry and Honda Accord are the two competitors but they are only available as an imported cars in Pakistan or as CBU unit so there is no comparison between them because the prices of imported Toyota Camry and Honda Accord are very high as compared to Hyundai Sonata. It is the only luxury sedan that is locally manufactured in Pakistan.
Final Verdict
Hyundai Sonata is a gratifying addition to the Pakistani market because in Pakistan there was no option for locally manufactured D- segment sedans. The only choice was to import the vehicle and due to customs problems in Pakistan a user has to wait a lot for the delivery of the car and in some cases, the cars got stuck at the port and waiting for clearance still there are thousands of cars stuck at the port and they are getting abandoned. Hyundai Sonata is a luxury sedan with all the premium features and the best is it is a locally assembled car. It makes more sense if driving on well-maintained highways and motorways because its suspension is a bit stiff, and not designed for broken roads and bumpy roads. Hyundai Sonata is a family car with ample boot capacity so users can travel on it easily.
Prices have been adjusted according to the current dollar exchange rate with the Pakistani Rupee.
