  1. Driver seat height adjustment

Proton Saga has manual height adjustment for the driver seat although this is not a unique feature but for this segment and this price range car, this is a unique feature.

Maintenance & Parts Costs

The maintenance cost of the Proton Saga is reasonable. As already mentioned in the above section the Proton Saga is the top-selling car in Malaysia and the only reason is its durability. Proton is providing a 5-year warranty and it is a big plus for Proton Saga.  The regular service parts of Proton Saga are easily available at the dealership but the body parts and a few parts that are not regular are still not available. The pricing of the parts is normal but they are not readily available in Pakistan and it is a major issue.

Worthy Competitors/ advantage over competitions

The main competitors of the Proton Saga are Honda City, Changan Alsvin, and Toyota Yaris. The main advantage that Proton Saga has over its competitors is the price range, the price of Proton Saga is very reasonable as compared to its competitors and it is the biggest advantage that Proton Saga has. It is the only compact car in Pakistan which is most reasonable like the Suzuki Cultus which is the subcompact car and its top-of-the-line variant s price is higher than the top-of-the-line variant of the Proton Saga this is the comparison with a subcompact car while if we compare it with the subcompact cars category then again, the price of Proton Saga is very reasonable.

Final Verdict

Proton Saga is a good addition to the Pakistani automobile sector. It has all the basic features, moreover, its price is very reasonable. For a user who has budget constraints and looking for a sedan car, the Proton Saga is a good option. All the basic features are available across all the variants of Saga there is only a difference of a few frills across the variants and it is very interesting. In Pakistan Proton Saga is unable to gain maximum sales because of a few reasons like the interior design of the Proton Saga is very outdated and this is the most disappointing point because the users were expecting a modern interior. The dealership network off Proton is not strong although while the competitor products except Changan Alsvin have a strong dealership network.
